Philippine American Cultural Center in South Florida Draw Strong Support

The Philippine American Cultural Foundation of South Florida. Inc. (PACFSF) announced plans to fast track its fundraising activities for the benefit of the Philippine American Cultural Center of South Florida.
"We are encouraged with the support we received from the business community," said Edwin Dominado, president of the PACFSF. "We held our first fundraising event at the Players Club in Wellington last August 16th. It was chaired by Dr. Armando Marull and Beth Marull. It was a success needless to say."
The elegant evening started with the usual cocktails followed by a delicious dinner choice of Salmon filet or filet mignon. Red or white wine was served according to preference. Dessert of tiramisu was also served to conclude the dinner portion of the event.

Distinguished Filipino American speakers were on hand to welcome the guests and talked about the goals and objectives of the Philippine American Federation
Cultural Foundation. in general and the building of the Philippine-American Cultural Center in
South Florida in particular.
The Center is designed to serve the large Filipino-American community in the southeastern part of Florida.
"We meant to put our best foot forward at that event, everyone left with good information on what the Filipino community is about," said Mr. Dominado.

Speakers were: Elizabeth Marrull, chair of the event, who gave the welcome address to the guests followed by Dr. Armando Marrull. Mr. Dominado, who has been the moving force of this project delivered an inspiring message. Kevin Dilallo, CEO, Wellington Medical Center was also present and gave a boost to the enthusiastic crowd.
The event was very well attended by physicians and other medical professionals in the Palm Beach area.
The PACFSF was very pleased with the outcome of the evening as more than 60 attendees and supporters made financial pledges to assist in the building of the Center. This is a very good first step towards the realization of its goal.
The PACSF through its founding Chairman and President Edwin Dominado expressed appreciation to everyone who made the event possible and most specially
